What is an Anchor Text?

An anchor text is text that is placed "over" a link so that a word or phrase is displayed instead of the "whole" link. For example, if we want to send our readers to the Daimatics blog, we will use a "visit our blog". In this way, it is more friendly to the reader, as well as to the search engines, favoring our SEO.

There are several types of anchor text:

-Naked: we are talking here about the "peeled" link, that is, without anchor link. For example: https://daimatics.agency.

Generic: The classic click here.

-Keyword: here we are talking about anchor SEO, that is to say, we place on the link a keyword that we are interested in positioning, for example advertising on Instagram.

-Mark: In this case, what we do is promote Off Page optimization. When we want to refer to a brand, site or whatever, we just put Daimatics.agency.

What is Anchor Text for?

For users: for our users we need to use a Anchor Text that provides all the necessary information so that they know where the link takes them. For example, if we want to invite you to read one of our blog posts, we will use one anchor of the type Find out everything you need to know before hiring an SEO agency.
